Ajay Devgun, born on 2 April 1969, was called Vishal since birth. However, before his launch in industry. Having acted in over hundred movies, he is the winner of two National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards. In 2016, he was honoured by the Government of India with the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian honour of the country. Not many one knew that he is the son of Veeru Devgan- a stunt choreographer and action-film director and his mother, Veena is a film producer. His brother, Anil Devgan is a filmmaker and screenwriter. Ajay Devgan is married to Kajol and has 2 kids. It is also interesting to note that Ajay Devgn is the first film personality to own a private jet.
Ajay started his debut film with Phool Aur Kaante in 1991, which bagged him a Filmfare Award for best male debut. This film is best remembered for his stunt where he performed a split while harmonizing between two bikes. He then starred in successful films such as Jigar, Dilwale, Suhaag, Diljale, Ishq, etc. Ajay Devgan’s other hit movies are Gangajal, Yuva, Apaharan, Omkara, Golmaal series, All the Best: Fun Begins, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, Raajneeti, Singham series, Bol Bachchan, Drishyam, Shivaay, Raid and many more hit films. His other upcoming films are Taanaji – The Unsung Warrior and Total Dhamaal.
